Dr. Denise Kruszewski is a board-certified licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California. She founded the Center for Stress Recovery and Resilience (CSRR) in December 2017. Her credentials include a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Arizona State University, an APA-accredited VA Evidence Based Psychology postdoctoral fellowship, and a B.A. with Honors from Brown University. For more than five years, “Dr. K” proudly and gratefully served as the embedded Civilian psychologist at the Marine Special Operations Command on Camp Pendleton for 1st Marine Raider Battalion/1st Marine Raider Support Battalion. This experience ignited Dr. K’s passion for helping to enhance effectiveness and promote recovery for individuals and organizations engaged in high-demand jobs and personal endeavors.
A licensed MFT in California with a background in military and government services, Jocelyn Pijpaert received her B.A. in Business Administration and Human Resources from Loyola Marymount University in 2003 and graduated top of her class with a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in 2008.

Beverly Chester is a military spouse and mother of two boys. Originally from North Carolina, her Marine has taken her across the globe to Camp Lejeune, Okinawa, Ohio, and now Camp Pendleton. She is passionate about holistic health and wellness: she holds a personal trainer certification, a BS in Nutrition Science, and a Master of Public Health. Beverly has found a fulfilling career in helping people become the healthiest versions of themselves. At CSRR, Beverly is responsible for strengthening the relationship between our clinicians and the community we serve as well as supporting the clinicians and clients with a variety of intake, billing, and administrative capabilities.
